Editorial Policy

Acceptance criteria and moderation process for sponsored content

Our editorial mission

RecyNetwork is a media network covering various topics: environment, recycling, tech, culture, wine, SEO and regulatory compliance. Our mission is to provide quality content that informs and supports professionals and individuals in their areas of expertise.

Sponsored content published on our network must align with this editorial line. We refuse any collaboration that would undermine reader trust or compromise publication integrity.

Acceptance criteria

Sponsored content is accepted if it meets all of the following criteria:

  • Relevant sector: environment, tech, culture, wine, SEO, regulatory compliance or any topic covered by the network
  • Authentic content: verifiable information, citable sources, genuine testimonials
  • Non-deceptive: no exaggeration of environmental benefits, no unverifiable claims
  • No misleading claims: claims must be supported by factual data (recognized certifications, audited measurements, etc.)
  • Informative value: content provides useful information to readers, beyond simple commercial promotion

Prohibited content

The following content is systematically refused:

  • • Unfair competition against other industry players
  • • False environmental certifications or unrecognized labels
  • • Content illegal under French and European law
  • • Hate speech, discrimination or denigrating content
  • • Advertising for illegal products or services
  • • Purely promotional content without informative value for readers

Moderation process

Each submitted sponsored article undergoes editorial review by our team:

  • Processing time: 3 to 5 business days after submission
  • Feedback in case of rejection: detailed written feedback explains rejection reasons and points to correct
  • Possible revision: the advertiser can submit a revised version addressing feedback
  • Final validation: all publications are subject to final approval before publication

Common rejection reasons

For reference, here are the most common reasons for rejection:

  • Unverifiable claim: e.g. "the most eco-friendly product on the market" without comparative data
  • Sector out of scope: business sector unrelated to topics covered by the network
  • Undeclared commercial link: content presented as informative without explicit mention of sponsored nature
  • Purely promotional content: article written as a commercial brochure, without editorial value
  • Clearly misleading claim: invented certification or data without independent third-party audit
